Lomo Saltado
Tonight I made Lomo Saltado. And this is how I did it.
First I started with some new york strips which I cut into thin slices. I then marinaded them in rice vinegar with salt, pepper, and some garlic powder.
Next came the pepper, onion, and tomato. I’m not a fan of onions but I decided I would cook this with onion for flavor.
I sliced the onion, pepper, and cut the tomato into wedges.
Then I brought a large pan to a high heat and used some oil to stir fry the steak. After the steak was browned I added the onions. After that cooked for a few minutes I added the peppers and the tomato.
While I was cooking the steak I had french fries in the over cooking. When these were done I pulled them out of the oven and stirred them in with the other ingredients. Not too long though! You don’t want the french fries to get too soggy.
Here’s my finished plate. Yum.

Good write up…reminds me of steak pizzaiola.
