Charisse Pempengco to Perform at Obama Inauguration

Never before have I heard of Charisse Pempengco. Until today. Who is she? She is a filipino with an AMAZING voice! Just watch this video for a taste of what this girl can do. I had no idea such an amazing voice would come from this girl!

The Starometer says that she will be performing “God Bless America” and “One Moment in Time” at the pre-inaugural party on January 18th in Washington D.C. I would actually like to see her sing the National Anthem at the inauguration. We shall see.

This song is consistently one of my favorites. I love the energy Dave Grohl puts into it when he sings. And the lyrics always strike home for me.

Riding Tower Road

I had the day off work so I decided to head out early and do some riding before it got too hot. I decided to cross the Susquehanna and ride Tower Road. This bike hasn’t seen enough dirt lately and I wanted to change that. Here’s are two videos of the BMW F650GS crossing the mountain. It was a lot of fun. There was a crew of workers at the top performing some maintenance on a tower. They gave me a strange look as I headed into the woods on the bike to go around their Hummer which blocked my path. :)

Once Around The Block

I mounted the Oregon Scientific ATC2K video camera to my bike instead of my helmet today. Then I decided to go for a short ride around the city to see how the perspective of the camera is and to see how sturdy the mount is. And I had just the right music for the video too.
